Korma Chicken Burgers

A serving of the delicious Korma Chicken burger.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 brown onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons Patak's Korma Curry Paste
- 500g chicken mince
- ¼ cup chopped fresh coriander, plus extra to serve
- 4 crusty rolls, halved
- 50g mixed lettuce
- 1 large vine-ripened tomato
- 1 avocado, sliced
- Raita or natural yoghurt and tomato chutney for serving
Cooking Instructions
- Heat oil in a medium frying pan, add onion and cook, stirring, until onion is soft. Add korma curry paste and cook until fragrant. Cool.
- Combine chicken, coriander and paste mixture in a medium bowl. Form mixture into 4 burgers.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan or chargrill pan and cook burgers on medium-low heat until browned on both sides and cooked through.
- Layer bottom halves of rolls with lettuce, tomato, avocado and burgers. Top with raita, tomato chutney and remaining roll halves. Serve.
Tips
- These burgers are also great served with Patak’s Mango Chutney.
